Saturday: YouTube Surfing

Wheyy! First lie in for many many days = epic win. Got my hair cut so it is now very managable and nice = another epic win. Got back from the hairdressers and did a bit of English coursework, which to be honest is pretty wicked to write. I got a bit bored and ended up, after playing some Lego Batman, just surfing YouTube. As you do. I'd known about it for ages, but decided to re-check out that video of the Filipino prisoners doing the Thriller dance. Awesome! If you haven't seen it, you must've been living under a rock or something - it's had over 18 million views. And so I'm watching this video, and then I find out that they've done more. More and more and more. They do live performances. Shame it's in the Filipines and they're all murderers, rapists etc... anyway. So yeah, that looks like so much fun. This one made me laugh loads though:

Why does this never happen on Prison Break? Next time that guy with the shaved head should just, y'know, dance his way out. I love how it just miraculously sueges into MC Hammer, completely out of the blue. If I ever went to prison, I'd probably do the hammer dance. Beats getting raped in the showers. After that, I decided that I hadn't seen the original Micheal Jackson Thriller video for ages. I watched all 13 minutes. It seemed like a good idea at the time. And to be honest, it was pretty ace. I do still maintain that he did his best material in the Jackson 5, but Thriller? What a tune. And the video is amazing! He dances almost as well as a Filipino prisoner... And then that brings me onto what I did next. I generally regard the Jackson 5's "ABC" to be the best pop song of all time, and decided to find the video. I don't think they ever made one. Massive shame. Especially cos Micheal Jackson wasn't, like, a freak or anything. He was better when he was tiny with a huge afro. So after that, I have no idea how I got to it, or why, but I found the original Macarena video. And in it, they danced etc, but didn't really seem to do the proper Macarena dance. Wtf? Also, the Macarena fits to SO many songs - basically anything with a 4/4 beat. I remember a couple of years ago at a gathering doing it to Slipknot's Duality... Weird.

I went to the football again (twice in 5 days - wtf?) and scarily it wasn't too bad. Sure, there was many-a-dickhead in the crowd, but, despite the fact we lost, Forest played very well, deserving at least one goal, and especially the win. And everyone is blaming the manager - what's that all about? At the end of the day, they played pretty well, but were just unlucky when it came to scoring, and there's only so much the manager can do. Got home, and have subsequently done very little. I found this. Jealousy doesn't even cover it. So now I'm doing nothing except listening to some funky music (Daft Punk, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum, The Whip), blogging and dancing a little bit. But not as much as a Filipino prisoner.

Friday: Half Term At Last!

PHOTO: College Panto 2007 - Very sweaty having been on stage as an Octopus. Ace!

Well, thank god it's half term. Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow morning - been so tired recently. Everything was getting insanely hectic. Panto auditions went really really well, but casting was so hard. I feel pretty bad about some of the parts we gave to some really good people, but when we get into it we can elaborate LOADS on the script. We're going to have to - don't want to be under-using people. But it's great to know that it's all out there now! It's so exciting!

In other good news, my Amazon order arrived early - ace! Lego Batman on DS is loads of fun (I freaking LOVE Lego games...), and I can't wait to watch Wanted after so many failed cinema attempts. I'm still well excited about Watchmen too. I can't stop watching that trailer. It's just... woah. And going to visit James in Leeds. So basically lots to look forward to. I'm waffling. I guess I don't have much to say. Righty ho. Bye!

Tuesday: I Miss Leeds Festival

It's true. I miss Leeds so much. This is me drinking red wine from a squeezy plastic bottle at an hour that was technically within my 17th birthday. And very attractive I look too. I think this must have been before those two random Scottish guys came up and starting talking to us. I still, to this day, have no idea who they were, or why they were at our little campsite. But it was fun none the less. I have not partied in a LONG time. Skins has made me feel really boring - anybody having a get together in the near future? The 'rents said I could have a gathering soon, but not sure when that will be. So, I spent some of my frees today with Ande, discussing Slash (obviously), mocking Ande's obsession with Slash (obviously) and Leeds. Like the time we shoved his head under the wine box in an attempt to pour some in his mouth. Epic fail. I also spent time dispelling any rumours that I'm gay or whatever - I am not. I'm just unlucky when it comes to girls. But at least I found my memory stick! Massive relief.

Panto rehearsals started. Ace. Well exciting - lots of great auditions, too much choice already, and only 1 of 3 days down at the moment. It's gonna be sick. Miss it at your peril. Still have lots of work to do, which I should be doing now, but whatever. Off to the football tonight - should be pretty good. I bet Forest will win. I will be there to cheer them on - my voice is the final push they need to start scoring goals. If they don't win, I blame everyone else, and choose to remain optimistic.

Pretty big dilemma - selling Xbox 360's in Bingham Sainsbury's for £130, and have been offered by my friend to use her discount (15%!), which would make it about £110. Bargain. Can't afford at the moment. Shite. Only two left in stock. Balls. Meh. A bit annoyed too - my amazon package STILL hasn't been dispatched (what's the point of free super saver delivery if it takes AGES to arrive? I bet even play.com are faster than this), I have loads to do before half term, and my Star Wars cartoon won't load. Pah. It's Neighbours time. BYE.

Monday: Fresh Start/Whacked Out

Long time, no blog. I've pretty much started again with this whole personal blog thing, and what better way to do that than with a complete bitch and moan? I'm completely whacked out at the moment. So much shit to do, so little time to do it. The list? Panto (Really fun, but time consuming), UCAS (I just want it out of the way. I hate that form so much), English Coursework (Love writing it, but have to be in the mood), Grease (Guh.), Driving (Pretty fun, but knackering), and that's not even counting normal homework etc. Free time is becoming less and less expendable. I gave up on maybe buying an Xbox 360, and decided to just fritter my paycheck away on DVDs. Ace. To be honest, I should be writing Panto right now, but I'm done for the night.

Off to the football tomorrow night, which will be nice. Although at the moment, Notts Forest = epic fail. It'll be the first time I've gone this season, so I hope it's not too bad. Maybe I can turn this team around? We'll see. I'm gonna wrap this up, and head to BED. Yessssss. Read some Watchmen. Guh, it's SO good... and anyone who says it's not a real novel can go and... well. Whatever.

Oh yeah - one more thing. I MET LIGHTSPEED, BEEYATCH. Bye.
